Day 3 – January 3rd, 2018

Hellooooo! Okay so it’s late at night right now and I should probably be heading to bed soon, but of course I couldn’t do so without writing this!

(Imagine if I wrote that one sentence and ended it off right there LOL. Would that count as writing everyday? Eh, probably not tbh.)

Today was so great! Work is back to “normal” now – it’s so quiet, so all we do is talk and walk around in circles and talk some more. All the pressure is off, so it feels nice to not be doing work at work. And I only have like 2-3 shifts a week for January, which is more than enough. I’m going to have so much more time to myself this month! I’m excited.

After work, Olivia met up with me and we headed to Brampton to meet up with Alycia and Anne for dinner and omggggggg. It was SO FUCKING NICE to catch up so in depth and in person!!! We haven’t gotten together just us four for pretty much the entire year. We spent hours just catching each other up on the innermost details of our lives, in every aspect possible.

What I love love love so much about them is that no matter how much time passes or how often we may see each other or not, we’re always so involved in one another’s lives, and make the effort to do so. And we’re all so supportive of each other too – I love telling them things about my life, my relationship and all the things that are important to me because they’re always so completely encouraging and so effortlessly happy for me, in every possible way. They’re always genuinely curious to know how things are going, always make an effort to ask about everything right down to the minute details, and they’re always reaching out.

It’s always easy when it comes to us and I intend to make sure it stays that way. We’re going to make more of an effort to spend time with one another this year, and I know we can do it. We have such a special bond with one another and I’m glad that we’re not just family, but such good friends too. I honestly don’t know what I would do without them, and I’m so blessed and lucky to have such genuine, caring, loving people in my life.

Anyways, that’s it for tonight! Tomorrow I have work again, and then after work I’m hanging out with Leila, Sofia, and possibly Shada! And then Saturday I’m off, but Adrian’s planning on taking me out to dinner – he told me he’s making a reservation somewhere and to dress up nicely, which I absolutely intend to. Sigh. I love so much how utterly romantic and spontaneous he is.

It’s been an amazing start to the year so far! Here’s hoping it continues on this way, as I’m sure it will.

Love always,

Me.
